Settle obligations between partners without waiting on correspondent banking hours. The fiat entrances and exits stay where they are.
Settling on a stablecoin layer removes that delay from the part of the process where it does no work. The fiat entrances and exits stay exactly where they were.
Settlement partners exist as counterparty records, verified in advance, with routing details attached.
The balance you receive into is the balance you settle from. There is no funding step in between.
Stablecoin transfers settle instantly within the platform once funds are received and available.
Both directions appear in the same transaction history, exportable to CSV or Excel.
Most cross-border payment use cases involve a counterparty who did not choose the rail and may not care about it. Settlement between financial businesses is different, and that is what makes it the cleanest fit.
The platform runs on a stablecoin settlement layer. Fiat is not held inside it. It moves in and out through a linked IBAN, and converts on the way through.
Most of the operational risk in cross-border payments comes from paying the wrong party, or taking money from a source you cannot account for. NGPES makes both a deliberate step.
Being clear about this is what separates a usable plan from a disappointed one.
| Leg | Rail | Timing |
|---|---|---|
| Funding the position | Bank transfer to your linked IBAN | The sending bank's timing |
| The settlement itself | Stablecoin transfer between counterparties | Instant within the platform once funds are available |
| Taking value out to fiat | Make a Payment over traditional rails | Depends on destination, currency and the banks involved |
If both partners hold their working balance on the platform, only the middle row is in play and the speed benefit is close to complete. If every settlement has to start and end in a bank account, the bank legs reassert themselves and the improvement is smaller. Which of those describes your arrangement is the first thing to work out.
Here is what each leg takes.
| Leg | Timing |
|---|---|
| Stablecoin transfer | Settles instantly within the platform, once funds have been received and are available. |
| Stablecoin to fiat conversion | Instant. |
| Fiat arriving at the recipient | Depends on the destination currency, the geography and the external banking rails involved. NGPES does not control this leg. |
| Fiat top-up | Depends on the inbound transfer reaching your linked IBAN. |
The digital asset layer is instant once liquidity is available, and the fiat legs at either end move at the speed of the banks involved. That is a large improvement on a correspondent banking chain, and it is not the same as end-to-end instant.
This is what the platform supports today.

Discharging an obligation between two businesses by transferring a supported stablecoin rather than sending fiat through correspondent banking. Here it runs from a custodial wallet to a registered counterparty.
The stablecoin transfer settles instantly within the platform once funds have been received and are available. Funding in and taking value out to fiat still move at the speed of the banks involved.
