Accept USDT payments as a business

Receiving USDT is the easy part. The questions that decide whether it works for a business are which network the sender should use, what the transfer costs, how quickly it becomes euro, and what the audit trail looks like afterwards.

NGPES is building one environment where USDT arrives, is held, is converted and reaches your euro account, with a single record across every step.

Services will become available only upon obtaining the relevant CASP and EMI authorisations.

What happens after the payment lands

Hold

Keep balances in custody, structured across wallets, teams or use cases.

Convert

Move between supported digital assets, including across networks, inside the same environment.

Settle to euro

Take the euro leg through your linked IBAN, so the money has somewhere ordinary to go.

Reconcile

One record covering the fiat leg and the digital asset leg, rather than two systems matched by hand.

The receiving flow, step by step

  1. Register the counterparty. Payments are sent and received with registered counterparties, which keeps the flow inside a compliant perimeter rather than being an anonymous wallet transfer.
  2. Your counterparty sends USDT to your platform wallet. Network choice matters, because it drives both the transfer fee they pay and the confirmation time.
  3. Watch it land. The transaction shows as queued, then broadcasting, then confirming, then received, so treasury sees the incoming amount before it is final.
  4. Hold, convert or settle. Keep the balance in custody, convert it, or take the euro leg through your linked IBAN.

What it costs to receive USDT

Two separate costs sit behind every stablecoin transfer, and providers are usually vague about both.

The network fee is paid by the sender and set by the network rather than by NGPES. It differs sharply between networks, which is why the sending instruction you give your counterparties matters.

The platform side is volume based, with no hidden fees and no third-party tools to integrate for the core flows. On and off ramp between euro and the euroF stablecoin is free.

USDT or USDC

Both are dollar denominated and both settle the same way, so the choice is usually driven by what your counterparties already hold rather than by a technical difference. Many businesses accept USDC as well and consolidate into a single working currency on arrival.

If your counterparties are split across both, accepting both and converting once inside the platform is less friction than asking them to switch. For outbound flows, see global payouts.

Frequently asked questions

How does a business accept USDT payments?

Register the counterparty, receive USDT into your platform wallet on a supported network, then hold it, convert it, or settle it to euro through your linked IBAN from the same account.

How fast does a USDT payment arrive?

Transfers confirm on-chain in minutes rather than over banking days, with the exact time depending on the network used. The status moves through queued, broadcasting, confirming and received.

Can I convert USDT to euro?

Yes. Conversion between supported digital assets and the euro leg through your linked IBAN happens inside the same environment, so the balance does not need to move to an external exchange first.

Who pays the network fee on a USDT transfer?

The sender pays the network fee, which is set by the network rather than by NGPES. The NGPES side is volume based, with on and off ramp between euro and euroF free of charge.
