Crypto treasury management across fiat and stablecoin liquidity

Real-time visibility over balances and activity, with conversion between USD, EUR, GBP and supported stablecoins.

NGPES is built for the person who has to answer to an auditor, not the person excited about the technology.

The four treasury questions

Where is the money

In a custodial wallet as supported stablecoins. Fiat is not held on the platform, it moves through the linked IBAN.

Who can move it

You, to counterparties recorded in advance. There is no free-text destination field.

How is it separated

Subaccounts per team, function or payment flow, each with their own balances and history, under central control.

How is it evidenced

A real-time dashboard, and a full transaction history that exports to CSV or Excel.

The policy question to settle first

Before any of the operational detail, there is one decision that belongs to the board rather than to operations.

The platform settles in stablecoins. Between transactions, your balance on it is a supported stablecoin rather than euro. That is a deliberate design, it is what makes the settlement speed possible, and it is a position your treasury policy has to acknowledge explicitly.

Some businesses are comfortable holding that balance and use the platform as an operating account. Others convert out to fiat as soon as a receipt lands, and use it purely as a fast transit layer. Both are legitimate. Choosing deliberately, and writing it down, is what separates a controlled treasury from an improvised one.

How your money moves

The platform runs on a stablecoin settlement layer. Fiat is not held inside it. It moves in and out through a linked IBAN, and converts on the way through.

  1. 1Top-Up. You transfer fiat to your linked IBAN. It is converted through the on-ramp and lands in your wallet as a supported stablecoin. Where the fiat currency and the stablecoin denomination match, that conversion is 1:1 before fees.
  2. 2Register the counterparty. Anyone you pay has to exist as a counterparty record first, holding the name and the IBAN or wallet address. Anyone paying you has to be whitelisted as a source.
  3. 3Send or Make a Payment. Send moves stablecoins to a counterparty wallet. Make a Payment converts stablecoins back to fiat and sends it over traditional rails to a bank account.
  4. 4Receive and Swap. Incoming stablecoins arrive at your wallet address. Swap exchanges one supported stablecoin for another without leaving the platform.
  5. 5Reconcile. Every transfer, payment, swap and top-up sits in Activity, and the whole history exports to CSV or Excel.

Controls built into every payment

Most of the operational risk in cross-border payments comes from paying the wrong party, or taking money from a source you cannot account for. NGPES makes both a deliberate step.

  • We pre-register your counterparties. Funds can only be sent to a party already recorded in the platform, with the routing details attached. There is no free-text payment field to get wrong.
  • We whitelist your sources. Money can only be received from parties you have approved in advance.
  • We hold unknown sources. If funds arrive from a source that is not recognised, they are placed on hold and the support team contacts you. They are then either returned or released to you.
  • Subaccounts separate the flows. One organisation account can hold subaccounts per team, function or payment flow, each with its own balances and transaction history, all under central control.
  • We keep everything on the record. The dashboard shows balances, activity and account-level liquidity in real time, and Activity exports the full history to CSV or Excel for reconciliation.

Managing exposure across supported assets

  • Issuer concentration is a real exposure. Holding a single stablecoin means holding a single issuer's obligation. Swap lets you spread across supported assets without an exchange account.
  • Network choice matters operationally. Depending on the supported blockchain network, different wallet addresses apply. Standardise which networks you use rather than deciding per payment.
  • Match what you hold to what you owe. If a counterparty is due a particular supported stablecoin, Swap into it ahead of the payment rather than on the day.
  • Keep a fiat exit tested. Make a Payment converts to fiat and pays a bank account. Knowing how long that takes for your destinations, before you need it urgently, is basic liquidity planning.

The constraint throughout is that Swap works between supported MiCA-compliant stablecoins only. It is not a route to an asset outside that set.

What month end looks like

The reconciliation gap is the objection that stops most digital asset treasury projects, and it deserves a specific answer rather than reassurance.

What you needWhere it comes from
Current positionThe dashboard: supported stablecoin balances, transaction activity and account-level liquidity, in real time.
The full transaction recordActivity, covering stablecoin transfers, fiat payments, swaps and top-ups.
Something your ledger can ingestThe whole history exports to a data file, CSV or Excel.
Separation by business unitSubaccounts, each with their own balances and transaction history.

The point is that the fiat legs and the stablecoin legs are in the same history. You are not joining an exchange export to a bank statement and hoping the references line up.

Settlement speed

Here is what each leg takes.

LegTiming
Stablecoin transferSettles instantly within the platform, once funds have been received and are available.
Stablecoin to fiat conversionInstant.
Fiat arriving at the recipientDepends on the destination currency, the geography and the external banking rails involved. NGPES does not control this leg.
Fiat top-upDepends on the inbound transfer reaching your linked IBAN.

The digital asset layer is instant once liquidity is available, and the fiat legs at either end move at the speed of the banks involved. That is a large improvement on a correspondent banking chain, and it is not the same as end-to-end instant.

What the platform supports

This is what the platform supports today.

Position today
StablecoinsSelected MiCA-compliant stablecoins only. Assets outside that set are not held on the platform.
Non-compliant assetsFunds arriving in an asset that is not MiCA-compliant can be converted into a MiCA-compliant one, as a case-by-case exception, not a standing service.
FiatMoves in and out through the linked IBAN via on-ramp and off-ramp. Fiat balances are not held on the platform.
SwapBetween supported MiCA-compliant stablecoins only.
External accountsYou can register your own external bank accounts and wallet addresses. They are verified before use, and only for flows involving the same organisation.
Team managementAnnounced as coming soon. Not available yet.

Frequently asked questions

What does treasury management look like with stablecoins?

The same discipline as any treasury, applied to an account whose settlement balance is a supported stablecoin: know the position, control who can be paid, separate the flows, and produce a record that reconciles.

Do we hold euro on the platform?

No. Fiat is not held on the platform. It moves in and out through the linked IBAN and converts into a supported stablecoin on the way in.

How do we separate treasury from operating funds?

Subaccounts. Each holds its own balances and transaction history under one organisation account with central control.

How do we manage issuer exposure?

Swap between supported MiCA-compliant stablecoins to spread across issuers, without needing an exchange account.

What controls stop a payment going to the wrong place?

Counterparties must be pre-registered with their routing details, and sources must be whitelisted before funds can be received. Unknown inbound funds are held while support contacts you.

Can we set approval limits and roles?

Team management, which would cover inviting colleagues and assigning roles, is announced as coming soon rather than available today.

How does it reconcile at month end?

The dashboard gives the live position and Activity holds the full history of transfers, payments, swaps and top-ups, exportable to CSV or Excel.

Bring your treasury policy, not just your payment volumes.

The useful conversation is about what you are willing to hold and for how long.
