Direct settlement with no intermediary chains, full on-chain traceability, and fiat entering and leaving through ordinary banking rails.
Settling on a stablecoin layer takes that chain out of the middle. Fiat still enters and leaves through ordinary banking, but the long part between the two ends stops being a queue.
Settlement happens on the stablecoin layer, instantly within the platform once funds are available, rather than through a chain of intermediaries.
Fiat still moves through linked IBANs on traditional rails, so your counterparties do not have to change anything.
Balances, activity and account-level liquidity are visible in real time rather than requested by email.
One transaction history covering the fiat legs and the stablecoin legs, exportable to CSV or Excel.
| Stage | Traditional route | On this platform |
|---|---|---|
| Getting funds in | Bank transfer, subject to cut-off times | Bank transfer to your linked IBAN, converted through the on-ramp |
| The middle | Correspondent banks, each adding delay, fees and its own checks | Stablecoin settlement, instant within the platform once funds are available |
| Getting funds out | Local clearing at the destination | Send to a wallet, or Make a Payment for fiat over traditional rails |
| Knowing where it is | Ask, then wait | Visible in the dashboard and in Activity |
That table shows the ends unchanged and the middle transformed. Whether that is a large improvement for you depends on how much of your delay currently sits in the middle, which is worth measuring before you switch anything.
The platform runs on a stablecoin settlement layer. Fiat is not held inside it. It moves in and out through a linked IBAN, and converts on the way through.
Most of the operational risk in cross-border payments comes from paying the wrong party, or taking money from a source you cannot account for. NGPES makes both a deliberate step.
A large share of cross-border volume is a group moving its own money between its own companies, and that is where the correspondent chain is most obviously wasteful.
The constraint is deliberate: registered external accounts are for flows involving the same organisation, not a general third-party payment route.
Here is what each leg takes.
| Leg | Timing |
|---|---|
| Stablecoin transfer | Settles instantly within the platform, once funds have been received and are available. |
| Stablecoin to fiat conversion | Instant. |
| Fiat arriving at the recipient | Depends on the destination currency, the geography and the external banking rails involved. NGPES does not control this leg. |
| Fiat top-up | Depends on the inbound transfer reaching your linked IBAN. |
The digital asset layer is instant once liquidity is available, and the fiat legs at either end move at the speed of the banks involved. That is a large improvement on a correspondent banking chain, and it is not the same as end-to-end instant.
This is what the platform supports today.
| Position today | |
|---|---|
| Stablecoins | Selected MiCA-compliant stablecoins only. Assets outside that set are not held on the platform. |
| Non-compliant assets | Funds arriving in an asset that is not MiCA-compliant can be converted into a MiCA-compliant one, as a case-by-case exception, not a standing service. |
| Fiat | Moves in and out through the linked IBAN via on-ramp and off-ramp. Fiat balances are not held on the platform. |
| Swap | Between supported MiCA-compliant stablecoins only. |
| External accounts | You can register your own external bank accounts and wallet addresses. They are verified before use, and only for flows involving the same organisation. |
| Team management | Announced as coming soon. Not available yet. |

Fiat comes in through a linked IBAN and converts into a supported stablecoin. Settlement happens on that stablecoin layer. At the other end you either send stablecoins to a counterparty wallet or convert back to fiat and pay a bank account.
No. If they are paid through Make a Payment, they receive ordinary fiat in their bank account over traditional rails.
The middle is. Stablecoin settlement is instant within the platform once funds are received and available. The fiat legs at either end still depend on the banks involved, so the answer is faster, not instant.
Yes. Register and verify your own external bank accounts and wallet addresses, then use them for on-ramp and off-ramp flows involving the same organisation.
Subaccounts. Each has its own balances and transaction history while the organisation keeps central control.
The fiat leg runs on external banking rails, so coverage and timing are worth confirming for your specific corridors before you commit.
A real-time dashboard of balances, activity and account-level liquidity, and a full transaction history that exports to CSV or Excel.
We will walk through where your delay actually sits and whether this changes it.
